The Relatively Curious Internet Genealogy Toolbar was a free downloadable toolbar loaded with hundreds of hand-picked, free genealogical research websites, organized by type, with over 5,000 downloads. The original owners of the platform sold, and the new owners filled the download with ad and malware, and I can no longer in good conscience promote this once- wonderful tool. I continue to look for an adequate and equally useful replacement and way to share useful genealogy websites for free.

The development team behind JoyFlips is incredibly talented, not only in their vision, but in implementation as well. My original role has been to support the team by putting the app through its paces after each change or upgrade, consider and suggest improvements and even 'wish list' items, and make thoughtful contributions based on knowledge of one of the target audiences, the genealogy community. Currently, I create and manage the social media channels.JoyFlips is a completely free platform that allows users to easily scan print photographs; import digital photos; edit; tag; add audio stories; create and share both private and collaborative albums; and export to various online channels (i.e., Facebook, email, and more). Scanned photographs are stored in the cloud, with only thumbnails stored on your phone -- 10,000 photos in JoyFlips on your iphone takes up less than half the space of the Facebook app!
