Coming from a banking background where I worked for over 25 years, primarily in the lending field, I began to think there are more ways to help clients with their mortgage needs. I was basically a mortgage broker with the Royal Bank the last 10 years of my bank career, so was virtually doing the same kind of work as I do now. The only difference was I was working with only one set of lending policies to get the job done AND I was working for the bank NOT the client! I get paid by the lender, and do not charge the client. As a mortgage broker, I now have numerous lenders to include banks, credit unions, trust companies, and subsidiary companies owned by banks etc. I also have access to private lenders. If someone has had some credit, job or other issues, these lenders offer a temporary fix until these issues are corrected. I always say, “When bad things happen to good people”, I can help!
