I started and grew Bolder Professional Placements (BP2), the Technical and Professional Division of Bolder Staffing. Our focus was on direct or contract placement of professional, technical and Executive level roles throughout the Denver metro area. We were particularly aligned to help small businesses and start-ups grow their organizations.

Led HR department for 450 person company. Areas of strength: recruiting, training, organizational development. Oversaw recruitement of all staff positions, including international. Developed Leadership Development Program from concept through delivery. Created role of Community Relations Manager initiating partnerships with schools through scholarships, and collaborating with educational programs to foster math and science education.

Boulder, Co

Helped open the company's Boulder location including securing retail leasing, carpeting, furniture and even the branch's first corporate clients. After 6 months in the job the manager left and I assumed full responsibility for the branch. Branch was known for landing many of Boulder's hottest dot.com's during their early start-up stage.

Boulder, Colorado

Served as the right hand support to the Marketing Director. Owned and more than tippled the size of the Recommended Reading section establishing a program for customer's to author recommendations. Hosted 1-2 book signings/week for nationally touring authors such as Isabelle Allende and Matt Groening (Simpsons creator). Wrestled over a hundred attendees into a space that sat half that, on a hot July night with little air-conditioning for Ken Kesey, author of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
