As a second-year chemical engineering student at the University of the West Indies (UWI), I am passionate about learning and applying my academic skills to solve the problems of tomorrow. I am particularly interested in the field of renewable technologies, where I believe I can make a positive impact on the environment and society.Besides my studies, I also serve as the class representative for my year, where I have developed relevant leadership and communication skills. I liaise with the faculty, organize events, and represent the interests and concerns of my peers. This role has also helped me to build strong relationships and networks within the UWI community.Before joining UWI, I worked as a teller at Republic Bank for seven months, where I practiced effective communication, confidentiality, and office equipment skills in a fast-paced work environment. I enjoyed the challenge and the opportunity to interact with diverse customers and colleagues. I am eager to continue my professional career in new and challenging environments where I can contribute to the success of the team and the organization.
