I am in an "authorized" 8 hours/week position.I would dearly love to have a position at a clinic or imaging center! I am interested in getting full time work but will gladly accept PRN positions to get my foot in the door. I enjoy helping the patient feel comfortable during the testing; I provide thorough answers to all their inquiries, I ensure that all pertinent exam information is imaged and then assure them that the results will get to their MDs in a timely manner. I enjoy working at a steady pace and can handle frenetic schedules as well. I am willing to help other technologists and I can also work alone.

Learning the GE and Philips equipment and the protocols for LRMC. In the ER, when an ultrasound is ordered, it must be completed within 90 minutes and the patient is discharged or admitted within 3 hours, or there will be questions to answer. The sonographers here are super fast with the imaging. I have to play catch up, and be quick about it too!
