I recognize the transformative power of high-value learning experiences in skill development, career advancement, leadership growth, and economic mobility.In my role, I provide operational and strategic direction to a dedicated team of 10+ at the Center for Corporate and Professional Education (CCAPE). CCAPE is the cornerstone of our institution's continuing education and lifelong learning opportunities, providing a diverse range of programs, including career and technical education, economic mobility programming, career coaching and development, customized executive training for employers, industry-specific credentials, and personal enrichment.I am deeply committed to expanding and enhancing our non-degree offerings, ensuring they remain relevant to evolving market and regional needs while prioritizing diversity, equity, inclusion, social justice, and belonging (DEISJ and DEIB). By collaborating closely with internal stakeholders such as faculty, staff, and academic leaders, as well as external partners, I help tailor our programs to deliver inclusive, high-quality learning experiences that address the unique needs of vulnerable populations. This collaboration extends to various departments and offices within the college, including all academic Deans, program chairs and curriculum coordinators, the Teaching and Learning Center, Student Support Services, the Wellness Center, Grant’s team, the Registrar and Bursar's office, and Academic Affairs, ensuring a seamless and impactful educational journey for our learners.My role is pivotal in enhancing the college's reputation, visibility, and impact, driving positive transformation within our region’s organizations and communities. By forging strong relationships with industry partners, employers, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and other educational institutions, I contribute to our collective mission of providing accessible, equitable, and exceptional education that fosters economic empowerment and opportunity for all.
