In my life experience I find that "doing" is better than just "talking" accomplished through communicative ways of listening. I believe in society, community participation and democracy! I believe in people! Communication and the the ability to place yourself in someone's shoes on a particular moment of connection is an ability to make an impact in someone's life! For many years I have engaged myself as a legal professional but so much more came from exploring my career in challenges with different types of law and meeting many different personality types of clients! Each being a individual challenge! My self challenge stating active in continued legal education certified by the National Association of Legal Association and being a long time member of the South Dakota Paralegal Association wherein a hunger in leadership developed and interest in board participation. Continuing my education earning a B.A. in Business, and then completing a Master's in Public Administration are two goals I conquered and endured! My strength is my hunger for knowledge and a heartfelt respect for people! By Norma M.
