Hello, my name is Tammy I'm a BOI! BORN ON THE ISLAND...for those who don't know. :) I grew up on the Bolivar Peninsula, where my family still resides. My bedroom window faced the Port Bolivar Lighthouse and Fort Travis; two magnificent treasures of our community history.My summers were innocently spent walking Crystal Beach, cane pole fishing in the Intracoastal Canal, riding bikes on dirt roads, enjoying the freedom of a beach lifestyle. I graduated from Ball High School with a Texas Cosmetology Operators License and I inherited a small family salon. I met and married a wonderful Texas City man in 1992. Together, Boggs and I built a loving home where we raised two successful children, our greatest achievement. While our children attended school, so did I. While a student at College of the Mainland I would also volunteer as room mother, soccer coach, team mom, CPR, AED and Basic First Aid instructor for American Red Cross and first responder for residential disasters with ARC. I volunteered and held board positions for Galveston County Soccer Club and Texas City La Marque Chamber of Commerce, Jaycees. I managed to complete several courses with College of the Mainland to carry a license as a Texas Realtor, Registered Medical Assistant , registered Phlebotomist. In 2005 I began my journey as a Texas Realtor. While closing my buyer in October 2014, Patty Norris asked me to meet her in her office. I thought I was in trouble for talking too much during the closing...lol, Patty offered a position with Stewart Title Galveston. I accepted the offer to interview and thus began my title company career. I began working at Stewart Title Galveston in November 2014 processing. Within six months I moved to the Friendswood location and became Judy Wheeler's funder. I'm a sponge for education, knowledge and learning so it didn't take long for me to head back to the Texas City location and begin cross-training as an escrow officer. This training opened an opportunity to 'Float' for all Stewart Title, Galveston County offices. I've met so many fun and wonderful Stewart Title employees for miles around. While I miss going to each location, I am currently a full time Escrow officer in Galveston, downtown. I've made it full circle and I'm back at the beach with sun, sand and friendships.
