I have worked for a variety of manufacturing companies in four different industries over the course of my career, amassing over 30 years of business marketing and communications experience. My progressive background in project planning and execution; brand strategy development, deployment and management; new product go-to-market plan implementation; content design and business writing; outside vendor coordination; digital marketing; trade show and events strategy development; budgeting and execution make me a well-rounded marketing professional. Since joining the company in 2005, my team and I have managed the company’s market communications strategy and supported all internal communications, including evolutionary website development and search engine optimization, intranet, social media platforms, trade shows, product literature development, employee/customer events and training. I researched, developed and launched a full-scale company brand campaign that included change management training and detailed communication plans. I also work closely with the commercial and sales teams to understand what is needed “in the field” to support the company’s financial goals, increase customer loyalty and improve customer experience, then collaborate on the development of unique programs and solutions. Recently, I began engaging with various U.S. industry associations in support of Prolec’s government relations and leadership initiatives. I was promoted to my current position in 2022 and have since doubled the company’s marketing team to include enhanced local support for all business units.I am an active member of the IEEE and IEEE Standards Association, serving as the Meetings Subcommittee Chair for the IEEE Transformers Committee since 2018. In addition to earning my BA in English with minors in both Communications and Business Management from the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota, I continued my education to become proficient in desktop publishing, website design/strategy and marketing mix application (including social media).
