As the Executive Director for the Governor's Office of Crime Control and Prevention, the State Administering Office for federal criminal justice funds provided to Maryland, I am responsible for the development and implementation of the Governor's Three Year Crime Plan. I am also responsible for the coordination of all Maryland's public safety agencies (MD State Police, the Dept. of Public Safety and Correctional Services, the Dept. of Juvenile Services, the Maryland Coordination Analyst Center and Homeland Secure) to ensure they are all sharing information, working together and supporting local law enforcement to the best of their abilities.
