Transcribe Provider orders through EMR; Get the appropriate Order Sets and Medical Protocols for Providers, Nurses, Supervisors; JACO; Work as a team member with all departments throughout our Mayo Health System; Take medical notes during a trauma, CODE, RSI or any other medical situation as needed; Perform EKG's on patients; Perform CPR as needed in the ER, patient rooms or where ever needed; Order and schedule various medical tests; Schedule various appointments; Answer multiple line telephone; Operate fax machine; POMS orders to pharmacy; Greet patients, families and others as they come into our facility; Stay on top of my education to perform my duties in a orderly and timely manner; As a HUC you are the go-to person for any and all questions and you need to stay educated and be quick with answers.

Took care of the Head of Cardiology's schedule plus another Cardiologist's schedule; Scheduled various types of tests from open heart to tilt table tests and everything in between; Answered multi-line telephone; greeted patients; Worked as a team member with every department.
