I am a hardworking and dependable Senior Accountant focused on going above and beyond to support the team and serve customers. Trained in financial accounting and offering top-notch analytical abilities. Motivated to continue to learn and grow as accounting professional. The last five years were spent learning financial and government reporting. Prior to obtaining my accounting position: I spent 26 years in the service between active duty Army and Kansas Army National Guard. The majority of the time was spent accounting for property and meeting mission requirements. My leadership trusted me to get things done and relied on me to be accurate. Because of my ability to analyze numbers and situations, I attained the reputation of the go-to person in my department. I not only trained personnel inside my company, I was sought out by other entities to share my knowledge. I was awarded for my knowledge and ability to help others. Each rank that I was promoted in came with greater responsibility and power. It didn’t matter what position or rank of authority I had, I never put my success above others. I truly believe that “Your success is my success” and I knew as a leader I had to lead by example. Since my military service, I have carried that work ethic to the classroom and to volunteer work. I have found that I get great satisfaction in helping others and work hard to make sure that the team succeeds not just myself.
