I am originally from Houston, Texas, but I have lived in Greenville since 2009. I have worked in hospitality for over 20 years (I shouldn't be this old!). Over the last two decades, I have held almost any position, from bartender to line cook, to restaurant manager. In 2011 I decided to go out independently and founded Liquid Catering, my first "baby." Since then...I'm currently the 100% sole owner of High Spirits Hospitality, the parent company for; Liquid Catering, a special event bartending company; Events at Judson Mill, two historic event spaces; Bravo1 Protection, a private security company; High Spirits Events, an event production company, and The 405; the Upstate's largest independent event venue. Each company is dedicated to providing remarkable customer service and hospitality to our clients and guests. Overall we bring in over $4 million in sales annually and employ over 100 people.Aside from operating six businesses, I am an active volunteer and community leader. I have served on the board for euphoria, a food, wine, and music festival; The University Center of Greenville; the Advisory Committee for the Truist Culinary & Hospitality Innovation Center at Greenville Tech; the City of Greenville's Accommodations Tax Commission, Clemson Area SBDC; the Board of Advisors for the Greenville Chamber. I am a Leadership Greenville Class 39 graduate and was the 2012 Chair of PULSE, the chamber's young professional program. In 2017, I graduated from the "Streetwise MBA" class as part of the Greenville Chamber's Minority Business Accelerator program, where I am now active as a mentor.My company and I have been recognized with many awards, including; 2017 50 Most Influential by Greenville Business Magazine, 2018 Woman-Owned Business of the Year by Community Works, 2014 SC Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the Small Business Administration, 2014 Entrepreneur of the Year by Business Black Box magazine, 2012 Greenville's Best & Brightest under 35, 2013 finalist for Greenville Chamber's Young Professional of the Year, and the 2020 Small Business of the Year by the Greenville Chamber.I love talking about bourbon, entrepreneur parenting, and food.
