I have a passion for teaching. I love being in the classroom with a group of children and working to help them develop as a human being. I am currently working for a great family where I am able to develop a curriculum to help teach two children. I am currently enrolled in National University and plan to achieve a Masters degree and my California teaching credential. Once I have the degree and certificate, I plan to open up my own school with mixed age groups and where students stay with the same teacher for a majority of their school career. I feel this will help foster a better sense of community and bond between the teacher, child, and their families. I am working on developing my own curriculum to follow that is a little different from traditional schools. My school will be Montessori inspired but will have some aspects that reflect heavily on my education, experience, and values.
