Working as a Senior Lab Tech in the wetlab area. As well as an Assistant Project specialist and an Assistant to fianance.Training junior staff and assisting when needed.Processing regulated and unregulated water, wastewater and soil samples for a variety of chemistries. This includes using Skalar instruments to process TKN, NH3, phenol, H2S, Cyanide, Total Reactive Phosphorous, DOC, TOC,DIC, TIC and Total phosphorous.Also using Mantech auto titrators to process Alkalinity, Acidity, PH, Conductivity, Temp at PH at temp 15 and Fluoride .Using a spectrometer to process Chrom 6, colour, UV transmittance and absorbance, reactive silica and tannins.Processing samples for TSS, TS and TDS. Includes filtering, measuring, pouring, and weighing samples.Processing samples for EMF and redox potential and salinity.Using a Shimadzu analyzer to process TOC, DOC, DIC, TIC samples.Using a BOD auto EZ to process BOD and CBOD samples and take DO.We use a LIMS system to process data, in which I am responsible for finding samples needed for specific analysis, entering the data for clients and calculating the results to be further processed by client service persons .I can receive, log in and label samples from clients for distribution to labs. This includes dealing with Chain of Custody papers.I am trained as an off shift contact, this entails being responsible as a supervisor after hours.I was a member of a committee designated to elevate workplace issues from 2016-2017.I have been a member of the Occupational JHSC at our facility since June 2018.I
