This was a very diverse position with many responsibilities. My biggesgt accolade was the development of the warehouse tracking and inventory system. Other responsibilities included the management of accounts with over 1.5M transportation budgets. Additional duties include the management of the interline department and loss prevention. Contract negotiation, billing and customer service round out the diversity of this position. Along with the office duties, I also staged product for orders when needed.

This business was grown from a hobby to full commercial drapery workroom. Since I was the owner, I was responsible for all aspects of business - marketing, advertising, purchasing, manufacturing & customer service. My proudest accomplishment was the start and success of this business.

I started as a broker with no experience brokering. I quickly became one of the top brokers and moved into account management. In that position I was successful at expanding single location accounts to include multiple other DC locations across the US.

This position started as a part-time Administrative Assistance position for a newly opening National Account office. As a result of the daily interaction with customers and pricing questions, I was moved into Customer Service where my primary responsibility was to assist customers on pricing issues and understanding their tariffs. I also administered the credit department at a local level through the use of the Dunn & Bradstreet system. In a corporate audit, my area was rated at a 96%. I also designed and implemented a daily tonnage and revenue reporting chart that went on to be utilized by other offices within the territory.
