Provide training on EMS documentation and the documentation software for new hires as well as established associates. Review patient care reports for both standards of patient care as well as documentation. Work with Dispatch, Operations and Billing staff to assure all reports are present and correctly uploaded, as well as many other functions related to documentation and/or its function.

Oversaw the Training and Education for all EMT-Basic, Paramedic, Critical Care Paramedic and Registered Nurses. This includes the required OSHA Bloodborne/Airborne Pathogen training, bi-annual skills evaluation, and oversight for all training supervisors and field training officers.

I began as a full time EMT-B and progressed to a Paramedic then a Critical Care Paramedic while transitioning into the training and management roles. I did maintain shifts as a patient caregiver, as I always found patient care to be the most rewarding work. I retired 07/01/2014.
