Coordinates, directs and drives Lean and continuous improvement activities with internal suppliers, value streams and customers. • Responsible for scheduling and leading Lean events; ensures availability of cross-functional resources; and provides Lean principle training for team members and supports team leaders. • Supports plans and activities concerned with technical machine development, pre-award activity and product launches. • Assists Plant Manager in developing a culture that embraces change, has a bias for action and strives to continuously learn and inspire. • Train new hire Team Members in orientation the lean thought process • Trained Management and Team Members in Lean Manufacturing • Maintain and control Standardized Work/Work Instruction for Production • Lead Workshops: Material flow / Line Balance / 5S / Kan ban / VSM’s and MIFC / TPM / Standardized work (4 steps)/ Cycle Time,Takt Time/ 7 Waste / SMED

• Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems thru, continuous improvement. • Production schedules and how many worker hours required for completion of job assignment. • Address measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality. • Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew. • Organizational skills and the ability to write and train Team Members on the job when needed • Focus on inspiring Team Members to own their work and drive to get good results.
