Serve as CTE director, exploring and developing new CTE certificate programs as well as expanding current cohort-model programs based on industry demands and VE-135 data- Write and submit new program approvals in collaboration with department chairs using O*Net and Department of Labor information- Develop and nurture strategic partnerships in all area high schools in order to grow concurrent enrollment opportunities and encourage matriculation- Create strategic and guided pathways in the high schools and on the college campus to decrease time to completion while ensuring rigor- Work in close collaboration with student services personnel to recruit, enroll, retain and graduate students- Approve qualified faculty based on credentials and work experience- Work closely with current faculty, attending faculty & advisory board meetings, as well as serving on faculty hiring committees- Oversee concurrent enrollment personnel ensuring rigor and educational content of course syllabi- Coordinate Carl Perkins grant processes and procedures- Monitor all CTE credentialing components, ensuring compliance- Manage Student Achievement Coaching team in developing success initiatives designed to encourage retention and completion- Investigate new grant opportunities to advance the mission of the college- Supervise four campus administrative assistants, evaluating performance, mediating conflicts, and encouraging professional development- Serve on committees such as the Institutional Research Advisory Board & Higher Learning Commission Review

Serve as the College’s primary liaison for concurrent enrollment programs. Maintain strong relations with school district leadership, including district superintendents and principals. Identify new concurrent enrollment program opportunities. Facilitate opportunities for expanded college prep and college level courses for middle and high school students with special emphasis on underserved and first-generation students. Supervise concurrent enrollment staff. Initiate and negotiate concurrent enrollment contracts. Coordinate professional development opportunities including the faculty orientation for the Concurrent Enrollment program. Oversee planning and execution of concurrent enrollment budget. Direct and evaluate program assessment data. Collaborate with recruitment and marketing staff to develop retention initiatives for Concurrent Enrollment students continuing at ACC after graduation. Interpret and implement legislation (such as CEPA) as it impacts concurrent enrollment programs.Represent ACC with individuals and groups from the community, community college system, and the State to promote understanding of concurrent enrollment. Serve on internal committees and oversees the Concurrent Enrollment Advisory Committee.
