I match resources to devise and implement programs. As a creative, team-oriented person with a dynamic outlook, I have a strong desire to succeed in the Public Health sector. I have over eight years of experience in the Public Relations and Marketing field and seek new health-related opportunities. I strategically create outreach to communities, campus/military base organizations, nonprofit and governmental sectors. My interpersonal, problem solving, flexibility, and adaptability skills have allowed me to prioritize and complete projects. I am equally comfortable working independently to meet a company's goals or collaboratively as part of a team. I utilized my skillset to gain experience in public relations health roles throughout my undergraduate years. I served as the Communications Specialist Intern at Claflin University in the Communications Office. I developed and managed a successful social media presence, drafted press releases, and hosted interviews. I was a staff writer for The Panther Newspaper at Claflin University and featured in Teen Vogue Magazine for my editorial on Bernie Sanders. I created numerous projects for the Public Health Alliance and Friends of the Earth campus organizations. Both groups focused on improving community awareness and the importance of enforcing a healthy standard of living. One goal I hope to accomplish is becoming a Public Health Advisor intern. I want to gain experience through the Sexual Assault Prevention Program at RAF Mildenhall. I would apply my skills in writing press kits that consist of health press releases, fact sheets, public service announcements/radio ads, and creating social media awareness campaigns. I desire to intertwine my skillsets from my Bachelor's and Master's degrees, create a foundation for community outreach, and become a link between matching the non-federal and federal public health communities. 1.
