Tammy Davis (Mcipd) Work Experience Details
  • Marex
    Head Of Special Projects, Hr
    Marex Mar 2021 - Present
    London, Gb
I joined the HR team at Marex to deliver a number of significant projects in a period of growth and transformation across the Group. Successes include a re-write of the UK Employee Handbook and re-draft of UK employment contracts allowing a consistent approach for all UK entities and improving the candidate/employee experience. New employee benefits have been launched across the company and other benefits have been aligned and/or improved – achieving significant savings and efficiencies. Key changes included moving from a fully insured model to a master trust arrangement for healthcare and introducing a new broker arrangement for the Marex group. I have instilled a regular flow of information from HR to the business and this has contributed to a significantly improved employee engagement experience. Further, I played a key role on employee communications during multiple acquisitions including leading the benefits workstream and as relevant, managing the employee reps process. As part of a small team, we formed a Steering Group for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and introduced the role of DE&I Champion to actively promote a diverse, supportive and inclusive workplace via a calendar or regular events which support Marex’s DE&I goals.
  • Tp Icap
    Group Head Of Benefits
    Tp Icap Jan 2017 - Mar 2020
    Liverpool Street, England, Gb
In this role I developed the Company’s benefits philosophy and embedded that philosophy into the global benefits agenda. My primary focus in this role was to harmonise the suite of benefits in the UK and other key locations to achieve fairness and consistency. In doing this, I identified significant Company liability exposure on an inherited benefit and drove the necessary actions to remove future risk. I developed materials and drove regular communications on benefits to raise awareness of the benefit package and drive efficiencies within the HR team including HR team briefings. Also in this role, I have a project manager focus covering a wide spectrum of HR topics in which I have delivered an aligned and simplified practice for family friendly policies that were separate and distinct and which now offer a competitive benefit. I launched the first Digital GP facility to employees and introduced various other benefits to the Group. In addition, I launched an employee engagement initiative with the regional Non-Executive Director & CEO to seek workforce feedback and represent employee views at Board level, along with identifying ways to address such feedback. Presented at the Town Hall on this subject.Played a pivotal role in the implementation of an appropriate system to support a Global HR database. Once a provider was selected, and a golden source of data was achieved, we launched modules under employee and manager self-service. The lead on all communications and facilitator of a project team to ensure a continued effort on additional functionality and push to automation as much as possible to remove manual effort.Nominated by intermediary in 2018 for ‘Employee Benefits Professional of the Year’ and ‘Best Alignment of Benefits to Business Strategy’. Shortlisted in both categories.
