    I provide all donor development, grant/scholarship servicing, board development and community leadership responsibilities. The Foundation is 30 years old and ended 2019 with $14 million dollars in assets, granting $6.9 million since inception. Since joining the Foundation first as a board member then as executive director, the Foundation has grown by $12 million and added over 150 funds. The Foundation adopted a Community Leadership framework in 2015 to leverage community resources around urgent needs and issues. Subsequent leadership initiatives include post secondary education access & success, economic development, early literacy and workforce development. Fundraising & Community Leadership:Engaged in a county-wide college readiness program, having received multiple grants from Michigan College Access Network to support the initiative. Responsible for leading the collective effort and for writing multiple grants & successfully raised match funding. This network just began program implementation and the Foundation continues to serve as the Network's fiscal agent. Also assist community groups in successfully raising funds to support various capital projects. This may include consulting services towards developing fundraising plans, evaluating business plans, writing grants and making connections to community donors.
