I have had an affiliation with sport, children, and education for over thirty years. My studies and career have always combined these interests. As the franchise owner of Playball Kids Sport Australia, I have extensive experience in Small Business Operations, Sales & Marketing, Communications, Business Development and Systems, Policies & Procedures. I have a proven track record in growing and supporting a successful franchisee network. I started her career with Playball in South Africa in 1990 and worked alongside the founder, Russell Wobbe to facilitate what has become a huge international success in over 16 countries around the world. I was inspired to introduce the Playball Program to Australia and in 1998 established the Playball Kids Sport Australia Franchise. I have a passion for sport and believe it has taught me some essential life skills, which I apply to my business every day, including persistence, motivation & goal setting.I have formal Physical Education credentials and combine my teaching background, understanding of physical education and business acumen to develop coaching manuals and lesson plans for the Playball system. I continue to develop my professional proficiency honing the broad range of skills required to grow and operate a successful small business. Establishing and expanding the Playball Kids Sport Australia Franchise enables me to work every day in a business that’s intrinsic to me. I thrive on working with young children and seeing how the Playball philosophy helps develop a child’s confidence, resilience, health, and wellbeing. I enjoy everything a franchise business delivers for me and my franchisees. I particularly enjoy being available for the franchisees, helping people work for themselves and supporting them to be successful business operators. Most importantly Playball Australia allows me to continue to use sport participation to teach children essential life skills enabling them to become the best they can be.
