Originally pursuing a career in Education, I discovered a passion for web development early on. While attending courses at Malaspina University College (now VIU), I also excelled at online courses through BCIT toward an Associate Certificate in Web Design. I graduated from Malaspina with a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts and Education. When my first child was born, I stopped teaching to begin my own business designing websites. This allowed me to stay home to raise my 3 children. I spent the next 14 years at home while running my own small business, and holding several executive positions on various school PACs.I recently re-entered the workforce when I took on the position as Office Manager at Key Business Solutions Ltd.. I am loving my new job and am constantly finding new ways to expand my skills. I have also taken on a new project as lead consultant in our company for BambooHR, a leading HR Management Software. I absolutely love the software and I am looking forward to sharing my enthusiasm and helping businesses develop and improve the culture and management within their company.
