It is a ministry to at risk youth and gang members. I am a momma to all. I share Jesus with them. I am the support person and the come to "momma" for any kind of help. I support them in the community and if in legal problems. I am a liason between my "babies" and the system. I am A Crime Victim Advocate certified through the second graduating class of the Ohio Attorney Generals Office. I use these skills to help these teens and young adults.

I minister to people in need and at risk. I mentor mostly to women, children and the homeless. I coach women on how to be a virtuous woman. I provide layman counsel to people with troubled lives through Biblical Principles. I teach character and relational skills. I visit in the homes, hospitals and the streets or where ever the Holy Spirit leads me. I do hospice visitation and counsel upon the request of churches, family and friends. I have rescued woman and children in abusive situations and taken them to safety. I give a listening ear to the elderly besides helping families cope with many types of lost. I counsel addicts of many kinds. I co-found an anonymous addiction group called Living in Freedom Eternally (L.I.F.E.) at a church. I use my Crime Victim Advocacy Skills with victims of crime. I have been guest speaker at several churches. I love to go where I am sent and do what I am called to do; that is spread Agape love throughout the world. Most of all spread, The Good News of Jesus Christ.

I planned and ran several large and small fundraisers throughout the year.

I assisted in art, dance, gymnastics classes, ran the front desk, and tutoring. I coordinated a program to teach children and teens to advocate for themselves called Kids4Kids. They wrote a speech. I transported the group to the City of Columbus council meeting. They were able to speak on behalf of themselves before Columbus City Council to advocate against the closing of their recreation center. This made the children of this low economic area feel like they do have the power to change things with their voice. The Linden Recreation Center was removed from the list.

I organized the regrouping of the Linden Recreational Council. I was the acting- President until we grew to enough members have a legitimate council. I became the vice president, acting treasurer, and Fundraising Chairperson. I helped to bring diverse programming to the Linden Recreation Center under Mr. Ray Humphreys. I held fundraisers to help with the purchasing of uniforms, trophies and awards, repaying and buying equipment. I organized and ran the concession stand every weekend during basketball and wrestling season. I also attended the City of Columbus Parks and recreation joint council to represent Linden rec.

I organized a volunteer group to join the Greater Linden Area Development Council Litter Leage to keep the Linden Park clean. I worked under direction of Linden Area's Safety Director, Walter McKinley in crime prevention in the Linden Area. I helped to promote crime prevention at rally's and community events. I also assisted in the notifications of residents and businesses in City of Columbus Code Enforcement violations. I am now an active member of block watch.

I assisted in teaching and implementing lesson plans. I assisted students in learning and completing their assigned daily work and activities. I implemented students daily behavior plans. I walked, talked, exercised, and restrained students during their severe behavior episodes. I was the behavior specialist in the resource room. I assisted with the preparation and distribution of school lunch as needed. I supervised students recess as needed. I also was a substitute teacher!

I was a substitute teacher in classrooms when teacher were off. I did this when needed instead of my Behavioral /Special Education Assistant on those days.

I was President of the Linden Rec Parent Council, set up a Parent Library, encouraged parent involvement, was on several committees including advocacy committee and volunteer committee. I was Volunteer Parent of the Year for two years in row. I assisted teachers in the classroom. I developed language cards for non- English speaking students and parents. I taught English to 17 different dialect Somolian pre-schoolers. I prepared lunch and cleaned kitchen as needed. I worked closely with the director of the pre-school to organize and keep records. I worked closely with the CEO and owner of the pre school.

I planned and implemented lessons plans for pre-K. I taught writing and reading skills from the advanced abeka school program to 5 years getting ready to attend Kindergarten the following year. In the summer I taught school age children to the age of 13 years old. I planned and implemented summer reading and language arts program. Also, took school age children on educational field trips on Fridays.

I Planned and implemented curriculum for our Pre-K students. I taught the reading, writing, social skills and other things in preparing our students to move on to Kindergarten. I left to a major move to Columbus.

I provided daily living care to residents. I bathed, dressed, feed, changed beds, assist with medications, charting, social activities, recreational activities, sitting and being there for my patients when they were depressed because of no visitors. I became the residents "granddaughter". I assisted with big parties that Mr. Lowe would throw for the residrnts, their families and employees. I am one of the original employees there. it is now called Adams Lane Care. I'm proud of being part of the original that helped establish such a wonderful place. I left to go off to college.
