Her experience in the area of cutting-edge technologies and as a middle and high school English language arts instructor have shaped her into a leader in her district and beyond in the area of educational technology. Professionally, she has presented at NECC, CoSN, MACE, FETC, among others, and has served in the past as a volunteer with CoSN and as a session evaluator for FETC and SITE.She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Kansas in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies with an Educational Technology focus and Bachelors and Masters degrees from Pittsburg State University.
