My work has a theme to it. Every job has had one thing in common: storytelling. I listen to people – I mean really listen; listen to the words they use, the things they say, and especially the things they don’t say. I help turn an idea, an experience or a vision into something other people can love as much as you do. Sometimes I help tell big, global brand stories, while other times the stories are personal and profoundly intimate. Whatever the role, no matter the business, at the heart of it, I always find smart, passionate people working to create something that will enrich the lives of the people around them. And I help make it real. I'm a strategic business thinker and operator with a track record for delivering results, influencing outcomes and earning trust. I thrive when the intensity heats up and I’ve led executives, brands and teams through the elation of growth and the devastation of failure, both physical and financial. Over the years, I’ve served in a variety of roles across marketing: Developer Marketing, Event Marketing, Executive Comms, Product PR, Employee Communications, and Corporate Communications. At Microsoft, I founded our first Game Developer Marketing function, with my team working in partnership with Developer Relations and Partner Management. I also lead our Executive and Employee Comms for the President of Xbox, helping to create a thriving team culture. At Apple, I launched Apple Arcade and focused on App Store and Developer Comms, with a vertical expertise in gaming. At EA, I led global PR and Events, setting the enterprise strategy for both functions. One of the greatest highlights of my career was creating and producing the EA PLAY gaming festivals in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Three events, each welcoming 10-20k people including players, press and partners. I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the most creative minds in entertainment, and launched 250+ games including Battlefield, Castlevania, Crash Bandicoot, Dance Dance Revolution, FIFA, Madden NFL, Medal of Honor, Need for Speed, Mass Effect, Metal Gear Solid, Plants vs Zombies, Rayman, Spyro the Dragon, Star Wars, The Elder Scrolls, The Sims and more. Each one has left me with incredible memories and lifelong friendships. As a global lead for the Women in Gaming ERG at Xbox, I am actively involved with the community. My commitment to empowering emerging leaders and executives to succeed in corporate America extends beyond Xbox to other women’s networks. I am a native of Montreal, Canada but now live with my husband, sons and dogs in California.
