The new Marketing Manager position was designed to oversee all the marketing for the 4 stations. The position was also to oversee four promotion coordinators and 25 part-time Street Team staff who represent the station while on site and out at events and promotions. This position is responsible for four stations marketing plans, promotional and advertising budgets. A few examples are booking TV spots on local and U.S. avails, digital billboards, newspaper, media releases, Twitter, Facebook etc.The Marketing Manager position is very fast paced working on short deadlines and quick turnaround. With the positions demand being required by an Edmonton team of 30 people on any given day.
