The databases supplied information to auditors, directors, internal and external departments and our reinsurers, as such accuracy was critical. - Monthly I was required to reconcile 7 ledgers and prepare reinsurance billings for all the long-term and subrogation claims which were reviewed by the department director and Senior Actuarial Analyst. - In a month I processed anywhere from 1 to 2.5 million dollars in accounts payable and receivable for our department while keeping very organized ledgers and supporting documents.As exciting as my primary role was, I enjoyed project work as well. I worked on 3 major projects which affected the entire company, not just my own department. Individually and as a team, I had developed manuals to coincide with the projects and revised procedures right down to training staff on the new systems or processes.
