As Executive Director/Chief Administrator of The Spire School of Greenwich Education Group, I manage a health and wellness day school for students in grades 6-12 who have encountered social and/or emotional challenges. By integrating my knowledge of neuroscience, learning theory, and clinical intervention, I seek to help students develop cross-disciplinary skills and strategies that address short-term goals for academic success, as well as long-term goals that involve essential life skills such as effective interpersonal interactions and emotional regulation. The Spire School is a NEASC-accredited and CT State Approved Private Special Education Program that is a unique and innovative school in this community because it couples a challenging college preparation curriculum with individualized wellness plans to help students build and refine skills for academic and life success. As Clinical Director at Greenwich Education Group, I utilize a strengths-based instructional methodology and a combination of cognitive and dialectical behavior therapeutic techniques that complement the unique social-cognitive-behavioral profiles that shape individual students’ learning styles and academic success. I have experience providing clinical services to children, adolescents, adults, and families in medical and psychiatric hospitals and in school settings.
