Our headlines rarely encompass all that we do - mine is no exception. My complete immersion in the cannabis industry provides me with so many opportunities that span the functions of our industry. My full time role with EmmaLeaf means that I get to spend my "normal" working hours with a team rich in culture and collaboration and they will be one of Missouri's best loved brands. When you love working with the people around you and feel like the work is important, it's hard to not grin like an idiot most of the time. In non-normal hours, I do work for clients that are plant-touching, cannabis-adjacent, and brands themselves. From marketing to operations to writing about cannabis and reviewing products on YouTube. Blessed? You bet I am - but more than anything, my relationships are my primary focus - to be a trusted advisor as well as a connector - which is super fulfilling! My role in cannabis expands beyond the borders of Missouri and my goals are to remove the stigma from cannabis, encourage social equity in the industry, and be a good steward of women's rights in cannabis. Lofty? Perhaps, but not unachievable when we all come together to collaborate and make positive changes. That's why JAINE is such an important part of my life - to ensure women in our industry help each other and continue to grow our numbers in cannabis.
