As an Asian-American, boba has played a significant role in my life. Ever since I can remember, every Saturday night my mom would take me to get boba for a job well done during the week. Then one Saturday my mom took me to a new boba shop and told me that it was ours. My parents had decided to start their own boba shop and enter into the world of entrepreneurship and small businesses. As I grew up, I began working at the shop and seeing my parents’ hard work pay off inspired me and set me down a similar path. Currently, I am majoring in Business and Management at Simmons University. Now, whenever I smell the freshly brewed tea, I can’t help but get excited about my dreams to start a business.
