I've always had this plan in mind – to eventually get back to a management role. So, I didn't stick around in the PMO role for too long. It was just the right amount of time to soak up everything there was to know about PMO so one day I can manage PMO resources.ALDI project – it's massive. Typically, they assign one person to handle one of those cross-stream topics. But I decided to take on two. I wanted to make the absolute most of my time here at ALDI. So, I grabbed the Authorisations and Hypercare topics.𝗔𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿, 🚀 I rolled out Authorisation Service Portal (ASP) and EmpowerID (EID) by developing training materials, professional demo videos, a centralised Authorisation SharePoint site, communicating the new process to over 1,000 users.🌐 In the project, I collaborate with global teams to refine the project authorisation process and guide UK personnel. I also developed Jira-based project plan and dashboards, coordinated organisational design for six domains (authorisation context), organised stakeholder training, provided system access to 2,000+ users across regions, managed audits, worked with 12 internal stakeholders for defect-free project completion, and partnered with ALDI IT for steady-state authorisations implementation.𝗔𝘀 𝗮 𝗛𝘆𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿, 𝗜📊 Developed a Hypercare project plan, leveraging Jira and control tower meetings to drive the execution of the project. The project involves 30+ stakeholders executing 100+ tasks.🌐 Enhanced the ALDI global Hypercare approach to fit Australia.📚 Created training materials and trained 100+ key users and 12 Hypercare personnel.📝 Created and refined: Hypercare approach, meetings cadence, RACI, governance, communication approach, tools, and ways of working to be used by 200+ stakeholders.🌍 Managed Hypercare in multiple deployments that required communication and management with nearly 1,000 stakeholders internationally.

After my time at DOOLEYS, I made a decision to join a major retail player that could really tap into my skill set – you know, my experience with SAP, retail know-how, and project management. So, I ended up at ALDI. Now, ALDI is in the middle of a tech makeover in the global retail scene, using all sorts of cutting-edge tools like SAP and Manhattan. And guess what? As a project specialist, I took care of a whole bunch of PMO stuff.𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀 𝗜 𝗱𝗶𝗱:📊 I produced regular project status reports to keep stakeholders informed.🌍 I actively participated in global PMO calls, fostering knowledge sharing across teams.🏆 I assumed the role of SCRUM master, leading various team activities such as Kanban training sessions, virtual Friday games, and facilitating Sprint Retrospectives.🚀 I presented innovative ideas and solutions to upper management, contributing to the advancement of project goals.🗓️ I effectively managed the team calendar and training initiatives, ensuring optimal team performance and development.🌐 I successfully delivered National IT new starter training programs, helping onboard new team members.📈 I developed Jira dashboards and Confluence pages, implementing essential tools and processes to streamline project management.🔄 I played a pivotal role in the transformation of the UAT office, providing support and leadership for a team of 120 testers.

🏢 DOOLEYS is one of the most successful social clubs in NSW, Australia. I had the incredible opportunity to dive headfirst into the world of IT. Think IPTV, CCTV, Point of Sales, and more – you name it! Behind the scenes, they also had payroll, ERP, and even a data warehouse.📅 Back in July 2016, I became the IT manager! Lucky for me, I had an amazing CFIO by my side. Oh, and let's not forget about that month-long mentorship with the ex-CIO of Staples (now known as WINC). Fast forward to my last year at DOOLEYS, and I found myself reporting directly to the CEO and COO. 𝗔𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗧 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿, 𝗜 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘀:🎯 I was the go-to person for IT strategy, helping DOOLEYS stay ahead of the tech curve.🔍 I got to know every nook and cranny of our IT systems.🔄 I owned the entire lifecycle of our systems, from start to finish.🚀 I constantly looked for ways to enhance, upgrade, or replace our capabilities.👥 I led a fantastic team of 4 IT pros, my team handled everything from daily system upgrades to outages, always following the best ITIL practices.💰 And let's not forget about the $2M annual IT budget I managed.🛠️ I was the technical lead on projects like SAP ERP and a Gaming System Upgrade (each worth nearly $1M).𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗻, 𝗜 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱: 🌐 Implementation of a SAP Marketing Cloud, which pulled data from various sources.📊 Roll out of an BI using SAP HANA data warehouse on Microsoft Azure cloud, SQL SSIS, SAP BOJ, SAP Analysis for Office, and Qlik.💡 Crafting and implementation of a robust disaster recovery system for both our Gaming system and Corporate IT environments, featuring cloud tech, data center.🔒 Cybersecurity audit and boosting our maturity level from 2 to 3.In all these projects, I worked closely with consultants, ensuring our solutions were top-notch, aligned with business needs, and fitting perfectly into our IT enterprise architecture roadmap.

🎓 After snagging my master's degree in IT from UTS, the Club General Manager gave me a promotion to IT Coordinator. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼:📞 Was the first point of contact for providing daily IT system and network support to 250 end users across 3 DOOLEYS Club locations. I handled their issues via phone, email, and our ticketing system.💻 Took charge of installing and configuring the club's software and hardware.🔧 Performed troubleshooting, repairs, data restoration, and other maintenance tasks to ensure all service requests were promptly addressed.🤝 Built positive relationships with internal resources and third-party vendors.🚀 Led several IT projects, including replacing point of sale systems, upgrading computers, and implementing network vulnerability software like OpenVAS.🛠️ Assisted in other projects like replacing servers, core switches, rolling out the GYM system, and installing ATMs.📋 Maintained documentation and ensured smooth procedure operations, and I wasn't shy about suggesting improvements along the way.

4 months after I landed in Australia, I managed to get a job as a customer service at DOOLEYS Lidcombe Catholic Club. My early days involved serving up drinks to our awesome patrons and getting my hands dirty fixing gaming machines. Thanks to my dedication and technical know-how, I got a sweet promotion to the Gaming Analyst role𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼🔍 Analysed gaming reports like a pro, spotting and diving into any irregularities I could find. 💡Threw out some innovative ideas to make our gaming reports even better and smoother. 🛠️ Teamed up with the gaming tech gurus to ensure everything ran like a charm before the club opened. 🍻 Provided top-notch customer service, including some impressive drink-serving skills during peak hours. 🚀 Became the go-to person for troubleshooting and solving complex gaming machine issues that left others scratching their heads.𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:🏆 Set a record by serving the most customers in an 8-hour shift. 💪 Tackled numerous gaming machine challenges, even the ones that had industry professionals stumped.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗪𝗮𝘀 𝗨𝗽 𝗧𝗼:🛠️ Designed and coded software solutions using a mix of .Net, C#, PHP, and SQL tech.🤝 Teamed up with clients to ensure our software was super user-friendly.👨‍👧‍👦 Took the lead by mentoring a junior software developer and a software tester.
