Tamoor worked at CAB as a volunteer adviser. Tamoor used to advise clients on employment, debt, consumer rights, housing and immigration related issues. Tamoor also provided volunteer advocacy support to different people when and where needed.

Tamoor provided academic support to students of higher education of different disciplines who were enrolled on foundation degrees. Tamoor helped them in literacy and numeracy needs and skills. Tamoor arranged lectures, tutorials and seminars to achieve targets. Tamoor acted as pastoral tutor, managed the enrichment activities and helped in the research and dissertation for learners on higher education.
