About Tamsin Greulich-Smith

Tamsin, a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health and pioneering member of DesignSingapore Council’s expert ‘Innovation by Design’ panel, has 20+ years of international experience in delivering change & transformation programmes, integrating human-centred design, risk communications, change leadership, and social innovation practices.A graduate of Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine she was the first jointly-funded post holder between the London Borough of Barnet Local Planning Authority and Barnet Health Authority, pioneering integrated care initiatives that addressed links between environment and health. Subsequently, working for the British Government’s Department of Health, she held responsibility for the UK’s longest running public health campaign, the Heartbeat Award. After relocating to Singapore, Tamsin founded and led the Smart Health Leadership Centre at the National University of Singapore’s Institute of Systems Science, where she taught digital leadership and health service transformation programmes. Tamsin established the Centre to assist stakeholders across the broad health ecosystem to transform the future experience of health through data, technology and innovation. Tamsin is a skilled risk communications professional and published author, with international experience in leading and delivering fully integrated strategic communications, innovation and transformation programmes with award winning results. Prior to joining NUS, she spearheaded the strategic communications & partnering strategies for the 2012 Major UK Civil Engineering Project of the Year, the New Tyne Crossing, transformation public perceptions and the project’s reputation, utilising a human-centred design approach at its core.
