I got my Engineer and Master Degrees in Electronics and Telecommunications from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Viet Nam in 2000 and 2003 respectively. Starting from 1999, I worked for four years at Research Institute of Posts and Telecoms of Vietnam as a networking researcher. I actively involved in several research projects on telecommunication network planning. I also participated in the projects of telecommunication strategic planning for Vietnam’s NGN, NGI networks and was the contributor for the Reference Manual “Telecom Network Planning for Evolving Network Architectures” of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU-D) in the early 2000s. In year 2005, I joined Polytechnic Institute of New York University to do my PhD study. Under the guidance of Professor Yong Liu, I did my PhD research on the topic of Opportunistic Routing in Wireless Networks. I graduated on Jan 2011 and started doing research on shared spectrum technologies for small cell wireless networks at InterDigital Communications in Melville, New York from Spring 2011 as a senior engineer. I have more than 10 publications published in international journals, conferences and more than 15 US and International non-provisional and provisional patent applications filed.
