Responsibilities:• Set the vision and strategies to develop and drive the Materials department; of Customer Service, Planning, Purchasing, Inventory, Warehousing and Logistics, to achieve company’s goals and budgetary targets.• Drive the technology development and enhancement to continuously improve its performance in quality, operational and technical aspects.• Streamline and integrate the supply chain with global supply chain management initiatives, to enhance operational efficiencies and ensure contribution to overall cost reduction and corporate profitability.• Develop strategy for Materials department role in support of product transfers.• Establish procedures, processes and controls to safeguard company’s interest and assets, and to ensure compliance to cGMP requirement and local authorities’ regulations in import, transportation, storage and sale of hazardous substances.• Define purchasing strategy to ensure continuity of materials and services supply and champion strategic alliances and co-operation with key suppliers to support company’s growing business.• Develop, coach, evaluate and support subordinates to build an excellent performing Materials team, including defining succession plans.Other Projects as assigned:1. Project Director for SAP system (7 full modules) Implementation2. Project Director for Oliver Wight Class "A" Supply Chain Operational Excellence, Certification.3. Project Manager for Organisational Design with Merck/Schering merger. Note: Green Belt certified
