Darryl Tan is a maritime and finance professional with 20 years experience, having worked in both the shipping and the banking industry. He is currently Chief Risk Office at FPG AIM Capital, a Singapore-based asset manager with a focus on asset-backed transportation finance in the global aviation, shipping and marine container industries. Prior to FPG AIM Capital, Darryl led the Transportation and Logistics sector coverage at ABN AMRO, working with a team of motivated professionals to develop the franchise in Asia Pacific. As a finance professional, Darryl has advised and led numerous mandates involving cross-border tax structures, event driven transactions, sustainability linked financing, export credit and asset finance transactions, to deliver finance solutions to enhance clients' capital structure or strategically improve their businesses.He had worked in Copenhagen, Singapore and Hong Kong and had concluded deals in South East Asia, China, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong and the Middle East. Darryl graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Business (Hons, Financial Analysis) and completed an EMBA with his Alma Mater. He is also a CFA and CAIA charter holder and has completed executive programmes at Tsinghua University, IMD, Zurich Institute of Business, amongst others. He had also completed an Advanced Certificate in Sustainability and Sustainable Businesses from SMU.
