My job scope includes planning and executing events, taking charge of many biodiversity and research projects, identifying plants around campus and creating slide decks, and more. These are the highlights of my internship:• Training International Biology Olympiad Students by teaching them phylogeny and evolution. • Assisting in the One Million Trees movement by creating plant labels and tagging plots, and staking of sites• Planned NUS Toddycats! booth for Festival of Biodiversity 2024 along with other team mates• Independently planned and executed a booth at East Coast Park Day event with a team mate • Established a Civet Poop Project in NUS where I collect civet poop and pot the seeds found in it for further understanding of the civet seed dispersal mechanisms and the contribution of civets to biodiversity and plant population dynamics in urban settings. • Drafted a proposal on a social skills workshop for Biodiversity Friends ForumOverall, I learned many insightful knowledge and skills which will definitely be useful for future internships and studies.

Working as a cafe assistant. As part of my job scope, I prepare drinks, including coffee, serve food, and do simple cashier duties.

Brew coffee with existing barista skills and knowledge. Preparation of other drinks and food as well. Handle e-pos system.

Part-time cafe service crew. My role is to prepare food and drinks, maintaining a high standard of food hygiene and food safety. I possess basic coffee barista skills and coffee knowledge. I am trained to do opening and closing, such as doing sales settlements at the end of each day. I receive stocks daily and ensure they are in good condition. I also train any new part-time or full-time staff. I teach them how to prepare the food and drinks, as well as their respective platings.

Patient Service Assistant. Assist patients in booking appointments and making payment. Promote the OneNUHS application.

Took up an internship at Nanyang Technological University at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) as a laboratory technician. I work at the central facilities lab which consists of the Physical & Analytical labs, Instrument labs and the Synthetic labs. My role is to prepare the laboratory equipment for the lab sessions conducted and keep the lab clean and tidy. I also write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Risk Assessments (RAs) for the equipment and experiments conducted.

Tutor for PSLE Mathematics, English and Sciences

I have been working part-time for this company since 2015 during my school holidays.My given roles were to handle and sign off on products delivered, checking the quality of the products to check for defects and engaging with customers about the products in the store. I was also a cashier and multitasked many jobs at once, such as scanning the items customers bought, gift-wrapping, price tag labelling and filling up helium balloons.I was also one of the in-charge for atriums held in multiples malls all over Singapore.
