Over a decade, I was appointed Managing Director of an investing network. I immediately noticed a glaring gap: nearly everyone in the room was male, and the focus was purely on financial metrics, with little consideration for impact. Yet I knew, from experience and research, that women often make the most meaningful, long-term decisions for their families and communities. We reinvest in the people and causes we care about, thinking about the future—about legacy.But too often, we don’t get the chance to leverage our financial power in ways that reflect those values. That’s what inspired me to create RISE, an Impact Investing community where individuals like you can learn, grow, and invest—together.
