Spearheaded development of retractor device to revolutionize breast cancer surgery. Architected embedded software system controlling device's core functionality of precisely manipulating delicate skin flap tissues during mastectomy and reconstructive procedures. Programmed data acquisition and processing algorithms in C on a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0+ microcontroller to interpret and respond to real-time sensor inputs with sub-millisecond latency. Collaborated extensively with hardware engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of sensors, actuators, and other electromechanical components. Conducted rigorous verification and validation testing, interfacing with sensor calibration experts to certify accuracy of device inputs across diverse surgical scenarios. Incorporated technical feedback from pilot usability studies with oncologic surgeons at the MD Anderson Cancer Center to refine and optimize device performance.

Lifeguard: Surveyed the water and the guests in the area to ensure the safety of all guests present. Enforced pool regulations and water safety policies. Administered first aid in the event of an injury. Rescued swimmers in distress or in danger of drowning. Trained to administer CPR if necessary.Swim Instructor:Swimming practices were taught to children (ages 2-16) to enhance water safety and to develop lifetime abilities. Answered questions about the teaching content and provided feedback and encouragement to children and parents. Communicated with parents about their child's development and handled with any miscommunications that developed.

Managed 300+ members through a system of 11 committees, each having a specific role (Competition, Membership, Service, Leadership Development, Travel, Awards, Public Relations, Finance, Social, Bylaws, Business, and Industry).Presented the business progress and committee analytics in front of an audience of 200+ members during general meetings every month.Kept committee members updated about new information and ensured effective communication.

- Helped develop an automatic irrigation system for the school garden. Managed a team of 20 individuals to design a renewable energy source to power the system. - Outlined parameters for the designs that needed to be created such as cost, location, structural viability, and maintenance considerations. - Tracked the progress of every individual and provided technical support to anyone that needed it. - Presented prototypes of wind turbine and solar panel to city representatives to gain funding and sponsors for the project. - Went to local companies around Coppell to inquire about sponsorship opportunities.

- Reworked the leadership system to include committees and edited the roles of each officer position to increase the efficiency of every officer- Primary presenter to 80+ members during in-person general meetings- Edited marketing strategy and increased membership to 200+- Created an organized system of permanent committees that have specific jobs- Communicated with the leading members of 6 other clubs in the school to provide extra volunteer activities for UNICEF members- Created a calendar with every volunteer opportunity our partnering clubs, and we provide- Organized a large-scale Halloween Themed Bake sale (raised $400+)

- Managed 160+ members through constant communication via email and school-verified instant messaging services (GroupMe)- Planned and ran 6 out of the 7 committee workshops that were held this year (Marketing, Logistics, and Setup)- Organized a group of artists to design our club t-shirt and significantly aided in the design process- Sold 68 shirts (people wear them outside of club meetings as well, which makes me proud)- Organized a team to research volunteer opportunities for members and ended up providing 12+ opportunities in which at least 10 people attended - Organized an in-person game night in which 50+ people attended (raised $400+)- Organized a candy gram stand to fundraise for Ukraine (raised $120+)

Taught children (Ages 2-16) swimming techniques to promote water safety and develop lifelong skills. Communicated with parents about their child’s progress and dealt with any miscommunications that arose. Answered questions about the teaching material and gave feedback and encouragement to the students and parents. Tested the pH and Chlorine levels of the pool to monitor the water quality.

During my time in the iLead program at Coppell HS, I was selected as one of 53 participants out of 175 applicants, embarking on a journey to delve into the realms of leadership, community service, and societal impact. This unique opportunity allowed me to engage with local business owners, collaborate with the Coppell City Board on city improvement strategies, and gain insights into the operations of the Coppell Independent School District (CISD). My interviews with business owners across various sectors enriched my understanding of how these elements converge to shape a well-rounded community. The iLead program has left an indelible mark, equipping me with the skills and motivation to pursue leadership roles in the real world, with an unwavering commitment to effecting positive change in our society.

- Taught students ages 9-15 introductory Python remotely.- Went through course content provided by the organization but included my own twist on the content to make classes enjoyable (talent shows, gimkits, kahoots, real life applications)- Let the students bond as a class and develop a connection with me by asking them to express their personal interests and hobbies- Had recordings of my classes used as an example to teach future batches of students in the program
