She embarked on her professional journey in Barcelona, Spain, working alongside the esteemed Javier Mariscal, a celebrated modern illustrator. Throughout her career, Tana has honed her expertise in developing exceptional digital and print brand systems for a diverse range of clients across Spain and the United Kingdom, including spas, hotels, real estate developers, museums, and fashion brands. Her passion for nurturing talent led her to serve on the board of AIGA Miami and provide valuable guidance by critiquing prospective RISD applicant portfolios for the past decade.Although originally from Iowa, Tana's experiences have taken her far and wide. She holds a first-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, has explored more than 47 countries (with no intention of slowing down), embraces her honorary Colombian identity through marriage, and cherishes the joys of being a mother to two adventurous boys. Drawing inspiration from distant lands, innovative thinkers, and the skillful execution of special effects in zombie movies, Tana continues to fuel her creativity and drive for excellence.
