An engineer by training and an operator by experience, I have over a decade of experience at the intersection of Fintech, Lending, and Capital Markets. I’ve managed product, technology, and operations for hyper-scale, global Fintechs and have seen first hand the challenges of bridging the gap between the conservative capital markets firms and the fast moving tech companies.My thesis for starting HighFi is that we are about to see a major shift in Asset Back Lending moving from traditional banks to private credit institutions. As regulators crack down on balance sheet risk in the big banks, they are exiting their higher risk, higher return business lines, creating a huge land grab for private credit funds with highly attractive returns.The challenge for funds, and the fintechs who want to court them, is that very few non-banks have the data and infrastructure to manage these credit books efficiently and profitably. HighFi is built to fill that gap, with automated credit book reporting, verified performance data, and real time insights & analytics - delivered as a cloud based, no code platform.
