About Chuan-Shin Tan
For over two decades my passion is to enable solutions for the electronic test & measurement industry. At the same time, these solutions have been helping numerous customers in delivering state of the art communications systems that benefited their customers.I have hands-on, strategic experience in global and regional business development, marketing and technical expertise in high-speed digital communication in computing, data & optical communications.Currently I am the Regional Marketing Manager for Tektronix Taiwan, ASEAN & ANZ region. My responsibility is to develop and manage strategic marketing plans for each region on where we play, how we play and deployment of marketing resources to enable business success. Prior to this, I was the Regional Applications and Business Manager, managing a team of expert engineers on various technology segments.Before joining Tektronix I held several regional technical and global marketing positions in Agilent Technologies. I was Product Manager for Agilent Technologies' Handheld Cable & Network Testers along with the Optical TDR portfolio. In this position I led a cross-functional team in marketing the world's fastest Alien-Crosstalk Field Testing Solution for 10GbE deployment. After a decade of technical experience, embarked on my pursuit into management and received my Master of Business Administration from the Manchester Business School, UK. Prior to that, I spent my undergraduate days in England earning my Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Communication & Control Engineering from U.M.I.S.T., Manchester. I also completed an Executive Certificate Program for Engineering Leaders at Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
