I had the opportunity to build up my in depth knowledge and excellent relationship network over more than 30 years in different positions and companies, all related to the retail industry,. I am used to work for retailers, for system providers, big corporations as well as private traditional companies, I am guiding startups and groud-breaking ideas to market readyness and success.I am currently engaging with a selected numer of companies and individuals that I am sure will make a difference in their industries and for the world. I think my special skill-set is the capability of successfully defining, selling and deploying complex solutions for general or specific market needs as well as the leadership and management skills to make that happen.I have a strong track record in management of complex global teams and organizational development, as well as operational areas such as sales, pre-sales, product and project management, people and business management, methodologies, all backed up by a solid technological and business administration background.From a personality point of view, I am blessed with a very good health, general optimism and work capacity that allows me to cope with a global business requiring 24x7 coverage and I have a strong track record of leadership in both growth and turnaround situations.I am flexible in work schedules, very used to extensive travelling and skilled in international business. I am an outgoing person, I like talking to and motivating people, being missionary for new ideas, I like change and a demanding environment. I had the opportunity to see global changes in consumer behaviour, in retail formats, in availability, performance and cost of technology, the pressure generated by standardisation needs, legal requirements, need to grow and differentiate, etc. All those aspects, and many more generate a climate of “burning platform” for many retailers that are looking already for the right answers or not yet realize that they will need one soon. The market needs innovation and reliability and confidence.In the transition to a digital business model, there will be big winners and big losers for the time to come, the winners will have to be able to blend traditional reliability with flexibility and innovation, address global challenges and be able to execute in a given window of opportunity.
