I am an outgoing person, I like talking to and motivating people, being missionary for new ideas, I like change and a demanding environment. I had the opportunity to see global changes in consumer behaviour, in retail formats, in availability, performance and cost of technology, the pressure generated by standardisation needs, legal requirements, need to grow and differentiate, etc. All those aspects, and many more generate a climate of “burning platform” for many retailers that are looking already for the right answers or not yet realize that they will need one soon. The market needs innovation and reliability and confidence.In the transition to a digital business model, there will be big winners and big losers for the time to come, the winners will have to be able to blend traditional reliability with flexibility and innovation, address global challenges and be able to execute in a given window of opportunity.
