For many people, the ultimate dream is homeownership. As a senior loan officer at MIG, I get to help people achieve that dream and then maintain it through the relationships I foster with my clients. I believe that if you give people great guidance from the beginning, they'll become lifelong customers. Being a good listener and investing in the lives of my clients is something I learned from growing up in a real estate and sales-oriented family. My mother and sister are realtors and I met many loan officers years ago when I worked in their real estate office. Those experiences led me to a career in mortgage financing.I began working for MIG in 1996 in the main Knoxville branch and soon noticed from my travels around the area that Lenoir City lacked mortgage lenders outside of the banking industry. So I presented MIG's executives with a proposal of opening a branch in Lenoir City and, in 2004, I made the move to the city that I now proudly call home. I have served as the manager of the Lenoir City branch since then and count the move here as one of the most exciting and satisfying steps I've taken in my career. I work with Loan Officer Assistant Chelsie Stephens, Loan Processor Kristi Aikens and Marketing Coordinator Meredith Smith to ensure our customers - from Lenoir City and the surrounding areas - understand the home purchase and refinancing processes.
