I am responsible for annual 100 million dollars of Energy (Electricityand Natural Gas), Zinc and Logistics purchases within the below detailsin Borcelik, which produces annual 1.5 million Tons flat steel(PO, CR,HDG etc.):Responsible for annual zinc premium negotiations/agreements,monthly order and stock managements, tracking of logisticsoperations and customs clearances.Making agreements for energy and logistics purchases andtracking costs periodically.Involving to budged preparation, defining KPI's andimplementing technical, logistics, re-sourcing and negotiationproductivities for responsibility areas.Monitoring global commodity prices and recent developmentsto assist possible hedge decisions especially for energy and LMEzinc prices.Controlling and reporting all Non-Raw Material Purchasingactivities periodically.Defining, planning and implementing of new systemimprovements.Directs supplier relationships, evaluations and improvements.
