As a Program and Founder Scouting Intern at Antler Vietnam, I’ve had the unique opportunity to immerse myself in the dynamic and fast-growing startup ecosystem here. This overseas internship has given me valuable insights into the country’s entrepreneurial landscape while contributing to a leading global venture capital firm.My role involves assisting in the founder scouting process, sourcing and engaging potential founders, and managing communications and logistics for the cohort to ensure smooth execution of the residency programme. Additionally, I analyse startup data and market opportunities, balancing strategic oversight with handling ad-hoc challenges alongside the Antler team.Through this experience, I’ve learned the importance of precise operations and effective communication in a fast-paced environment. One of my key takeaways has been the ability to balance attention to detail with a big-picture perspective, which is essential in a venture capital setting where both founders’ potential and market dynamics must be carefully evaluated. I look forward to deepening my understanding of the venture capital landscape and contributing further to the growth of innovative startups in Vietnam’s vibrant entrepreneurial scene.

As the Executive Committee member for a Teens Reading Club under the National Library Board (NLB), I lead a dynamic group of teens aged 13 to 17 with a passion for reading in Chinese. Our club focuses on fostering a love for literature while encouraging critical thinking and reflection beyond the text. Together, we explore and discuss life issues, aiming to grow both personally and as a community.Our goals include bringing secondary school students together to form a vibrant book club, enhancing communication skills, and delving into topics less frequently discussed to broaden knowledge. Through engaging discussions, we aim to develop reading comprehension and critical thinking skills, ensuring a sustained interest in Chinese books.Being part of this club not only allows us to give back to the community but also serves as a platform to nurture leadership, planning, and organizational skills. Members have the opportunity to meet like-minded peers, fostering a sense of camaraderie. Joining the Teens Reading Club is an enriching experience, providing valuable insights, broadening knowledge, and contributing to personal growth.

As a dedicated student of the Diploma in Chinese Studies, I have had the honour of representing my course in various prestigious events. These experiences have greatly enriched my academic journey, honing my communication skills and deepening my appreciation for Chinese culture and heritage.Through these opportunities, I have honed a diverse skill set, including public speaking, event coordination, and effective communication. At TYS Product Team, I am responsible for curating a diverse range of educational products focusing on ASEAN-China for schools, institutions, and corporations in Singapore and beyond. Our mission is twofold: to enhance regional awareness among our target audience and to equip learners with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in today's interconnected world.My decision to join TYS stemmed from a desire to refine my critical thinking abilities through cross-cultural engagement. Moreover, I am committed to fostering a conducive learning environment for our clients, while also seizing opportunities for business expansion. Furthermore, I am eager to forge meaningful connections with individuals from diverse backgrounds across the ASEAN-China region, fostering an enriching exchange of ideas and experiences.

As a Student Ambassador at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, I collaborate closely with the Corporate Communications Office to organise major flagship events like RED Camp and Open House. In addition to leading campus tours and alumni sharing sessions, I contribute to NP's social media content, learning valuable marketing strategies along the way. This role has honed my leadership skills and provided real-world experience in outreach and student marketing.

At Ngee Ann Polytechnic's Stage Art Group (SAG), I have had the privilege of working alongside highly dedicated and talented members who share a passion for theatre. During my time with NPSAG, I immersed myself in all major aspects of stage production, including stage management and the technical aspects of film production. In addition to our Annual Productions, which are open to the public, we also collaborate with external organizations to produce shows both within and outside the school.As the President of the Drama Club, I liaise with the CCA advisor from the Student Development Office and collaborate closely with our drama instructor. My role involves ensuring seamless coordination and fostering a vibrant and thriving theatrical community.

During my four years at Nan Hua High School, I was immersed in an environment dedicated to developing world-ready Bicultural Scholars. This vision provided me with numerous opportunities to enhance my public speaking skills through emceeing and to showcase my performing talent in cross-talk.
