My name is Xinyue/Connie Tang. As a UI/UX designer, researcher, and international student from China studying Inclusive Design in Canada, my diverse background enriches my analytical approach. While I strive for objectivity, I acknowledge the inevitability of biases in research (Moon & Blackman, 2017). To mitigate this, I employ the reflexivity method (Holmes, 2020).My design philosophy embraces observer-independent reality (Andrew & Henning, 2017), melding personal experiences with diverse methodologies to ensure equitable access to information and interactions. Guided by human-centered design principles, I tailor solutions to meet the implicit needs of diverse communities.This stance underscores my commitment to equality and inclusion, recognizing the importance of diversity in all its forms.
