At CMU Robotics Institute, I was working on presenting positive and negative linkages from inconsistent and uncertain information to conclusions using an argumentation-based reasoning model. My approach involves ranking the premises and inferences with respect to human users' interests, and then re-organizing the presentation around the highest ranked information and inferences. In addition, an understandable logical structure (as argumentation) which reflects the linkages among the highest ranked information and inferences will be preserved. I am also working on bridging the presentation system to semantic web data (based on description logic).
